"Asking for help is OK, it does not make you weak. Admitting you have a problem and need help takes real courage."

-TS, 2024

A broken man, a man who forgot who he was, the feeling of being burnt out, hitting rock bottom. I was using cocaine to 'cope' with life. I had a choice to make, continue on this self-destruct path and die or be the man that I had forgotten I could be and give myself a real 2nd chance at a happy life.

Asking for help is OK, it does not make you weak. Admitting you have a problem and need help takes real courage. It is OK to be NOT OK but we ultimately control our actions and decisions. If I can inspire just the one person reading this - reach out to Shahir - you have your life to gain and nothing to lose.

From the moment I messaged Shahir, to arriving at Savasana, I felt welcomed and understood. The staff are incredibly professional and genuinely care about each person’s journey.

I felt at peace. An amazing place that is supportive of recovery / rediscovering who you are. PT sessions, sauna, daily nutritious home-cooked food, I could go on. They take away all stress so you can work on yourself. The therapy sessions were the highlight of my treatment. The individual counselling was personalised and really helped me address underlying issues that contributed to my addiction.

One of the things I appreciated most was the aftercare planning. The follow-up calls and check-ins from Shahir have been a great support. I will forever be grateful.

If you are struggling, you are not alone.
